SHARJAH (92 News) – Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed was offered to fix the one-day international against Sri Lanka, which he declined and informed the PCB Anti-Corruption Unit about the offer. After the move, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has asked the players to remain away from irrelevant people. The PCB has expedited surveillance of suspects in the UAE. However, the PCB officials have refused to confirm the news. The PSL scandal was started in Dubai last year. Cricketer Sharjeel Khan, Khalid Latif, Mohammad Irfan and Mohammad Nawaz were sentenced in the case. On the other hand, the man offering spot-fixing to Sarfraz Ahmed has turned out to be Irfan, a Pakistani and an employee of Sharjah Stadium. Inzmamul Haq has advised the players to be careful and not meet any stranger. Legend cricketer Abdul Qadir has appreciated Sarfraz Ahmed for rejecting the offer and informing the PCB Anti-Corruption Unit on time. He said that there should be zero-tolerance over the fixing issue.
