Sarfraz Bugti arrested after cancellation of bail in girl kidnap case

QUETTA (92 News) – The police arrested Senator Sarfraz Bugti after the cancellation of his bail in the girl kidnap case on Thursday. He has been shifted to Bijli Road Police Station. Talking to the media after his arrest, Sarfraz Bugti said that he had been involved in the case for political objectives. “We will approach the Balochistan High Court for justice,” he said. On December 10, Sessions Judge Aftab Ahmed Loan had granted him bail in the case. A day before, a kidnap case was registered against him on the complaint of a woman who said that her daughter Sehrish was killed in 2013 and the court had given her granddaughter’s custody to her. She alleged that she had taken her 10-year-old granddaughter to a family court so that she could meet her father Tawakkal Ali who forced the child to get in his car and took her to Senator Sarfaraz Bugti’s house. Later, she was told by the guards it was the senator’s house.
