Sartaj Aziz to attend Heart of Asia Conference in India

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz will travel to India on Sunday to participate in the Heart of Asia Conference to be held on December 3 to 4. The Heart of Asia Ministerial Conference will take place from December 3 to 4 in Amritsar. Earlier, Sartaj Aziz held a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad prior to his visit to India to attend Heart of Asia Conference. The adviser sought guidance from the premier on the conference in the context of improving peace and reconciliation in Afghanistan. They also discussed foreign policy matters. The adviser would not hold meeting with any Indian official on the sidelines of Heart of Asia Ministerial Conference.
