Saudi Arabia hospital fire kills 25, injures more than 100

RIYADH (92 News) – A fire at a hospital in Saudi Arabia has killed at least 25 people and injured more than 100 on Thursday.

The fire broke out early on Thursday morning at the Jazan General Hospital in the southern coastal city of Jazan.

The fire is now over and those injured have been transferred to other hospitals in the area, it added. An investigation is under way to find out the cause of the blaze.

Some 21 civil defense teams helped extinguish the fire, according to the agency. The civil defense teams rescued people trapped in the hospital.

Meanwhile, the Saudi coalition carried out an operation and killed at least 40 rebels who tried to enter Saudi Arabian province Jaza, while some people were killed following the rebels shelling in Jazan abd Najran.
