ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud will be accorded a historic welcome on his arrival on February 16. According to preliminary schedule received by 92 News, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman will land with four planes in the afternoon. JF-17 will salute the visiting dignitaries on their entry to Pakistan territory. The entourage will comprise of 1,100 people, including Saudi investors. Prime Minister Imran Khan will welcome the guests. During his stay, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will sign a number of agreements and MoUs in diverse sectors, including investment, finance, power, renewable energy, internal security, media, culture and sports. The two countries will also discuss ways and means to develop a robust follow-up mechanism to ensure effective implementation and quick progress on tangible areas of cooperation. This will be first state-level visit the dignitary to Pakistan since his elevation to the position of the Crown Prince in April 2017. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will call on President Dr Arif Alvi. He will also meet Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa. A delegation of Pakistan's Senate will also call on the Crown Prince to discuss ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation between the two countries. The Saudi ministers accompanying the Crown Prince will meet their counterparts to discuss bilateral cooperation in their respective fields. On the sidelines of the visit, businessmen of the two countries will also meet to discuss opportunities of collaboration in the private sector. The visit of Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman is expected to significantly enhance bilateral ties between the two countries in all spheres of cooperation. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman holds important portfolios in the Saudi government, including that of the Vice President of the Council of Ministers and the Defense Minister.
