JEDDAH (92 News) – The deputy governor of Asir province and seven others were killed in a helicopter crash in the southwestern mountains of Saudi Arabia.
The accident occurred in the wee hours of Monday when the helicopter carrying Prince Mansour bin Muqrin and other regional officials were returning from a regular inspection tour.
The officials spent most of the day inspecting a number coastal projects west of Abha city, it said.
The reports did not elaborate on the cause of the crash.
