KARACHI (92 News) – Saudi immigration authorities seized the flight crew of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and imposed heavy fine for violating rules on Sunday.
PIA administration forgot to register arrival of the flight PK-759 departed from Lahore and landed on Jeddah airport after which Saudi immigration authorities imposed fine of 3000 Saudi Riyal to each crew member.
However, PIA administration has submitted a written apology to Saudi authorities for securing release of its staff member.
It is pertinent to mention that the post of General Manager Central Control is vacant for the last couple of weeks.
