SC accepts contempt of court petitions against PM, Punjab CM and others

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court has on Friday accepted the contempt of court petition against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and other party leaders.

The petitioner Mahmood Akhtar Naqavi filed the petitions in the apex court against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, Daniyal Aziz, Talal Chaudhry, Mushahidullah and Nihal Hashmi.

The petitioner filed the petitions for delivering statements against the members of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed to probe the Nawaz Sharif and his family in Panama Leaks case.
