SC accepts unconditional apology by Faisal Vawda, Mustafa Kamal
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday accepted unconditional apology tendered by Senator Faisal Vawad and MNA Mustafa Kamal.
The court also withdrew the contempt of court notice against them.
During the hearing, Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa asked Faisal Vawda whether he had tendered the apology. “Yes, I have tendered an apology,” replied Vawda.
Farogh Naseem, counsel for Mustafa Kamal, contended that his client had sought the unconditional apology. “Now he has expressed his regret during the press conference,” he added.
CJP Qazi Faez Isa remarked that the unconditional apology had been tendered and now the matters would not be forwarded.
