SC acquits murder convict after 12 years

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court (SC) Tuesday acquitted a murder convict over lack of evidences after he compensated over 12 years sentence in jail. A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa resumed the hearing of the case. The court remarked that the accused was not found guilty of the charge. Shahzad was accused of murdering a man namely Yaqoob and the case was registered against him in Faisalabad’s Ghulam Muhammad Police Station. The crime court had sentenced accused Shahzad of death.
