SC acquits Shahrukh Jatoi in Shahzeb murder case

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday acquitted Shahrukh Jatoi and his accomplices in the Shahzeb murder case.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Ijazul Ahsan heard the case. During the hearing, Shahrukh Jatoi's lawyer, Latif Khosa, told the apex court that the accused had no intention of spreading terror. “The murder event was presented as a case of terrorism. The parties have already reached an agreement, so the accused should be acquitted.”

After listening to the arguments of the parties, the court acquitted all the accused, including Shahrukh Jatoi.

Talking to media, lawyer Latif Khosa said that reconcile has been reached with the family of the deceased.
