ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court adjourned the Panama case until Tuesday, issuing notices to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the Federal Board of Revenue.

During the hearing, Justice Afzal remarked that they would open the Volume 10 if need be.

Justice Ijazul Hassan said that it was not mandatory for them to accept all findings of the JIT.

AML chief Sheikh Rashid and Taufeeq Asif, counsel for the Jamaat-e-Islami, presented the arguments.

Naeem Bukhari, counsel for the PTI, submitted an application to the SC, pleading to summon Nawaz Sharif.

He also appealed to the court to disqualify Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif under Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution.

He also prayed to the court to send the Sharif family cases to the Accountability Court.

Presenting his arguments, Khawaja Haris, counsel for the Sharif family, stated that they had filed two miscellaneous applications – one for proving the Volume 10 and another containing objections on the JIT report.

He contended that the JIT had gone far beyond the court orders.

Justice Ijaz Afzal remarked that it was not trying.

Justice Azmat Saeed asked the Sharif family counsel to be careful while selecting words.
