KARACHI (92 News) – The Supreme Court Karachi Registry has on Tuesday expressed no confidence on the on the report presented by the government regarding the removal of illegal billboards from the city. Supreme Court Judge Justice Amir Muslim Hani conducted the hearing of illegal bill boards and withholdings installed in the city. During the proceedings, Additional Attorney General and Cantonment Board submitted their report. The report stated that the billboards have been removed from public places while the billboards are still installed in the cantonment area on public and private property. The government lawyers said that the government has signed a contract with a local TV channel for advertisements. The court while lashing out on the issue said remarked that barred the installation of billboards on private properties. The court further order to remove the billboards from private buildings and high buildings.
