ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court (SC) decided to club all pending petitions against fee hikes by private schools. Chief Justice Saqib Nisar passed instructions to club all petitions pending in the apex and high courts of the country. The chief justice sought all large private schools list in next hearing on October 4. During the hearing, CJP Nisar remarked that when the parents admitted their children in private schools, they cannot withdraw for schools due to the fee. "The schools have to defend themselves," the top judge remarked. It is pertinent to note that petitions against fee hikes imposed by private schools are being heard by the Sindh High Court, Islamabad High Court, Lahore High Court and Peshawar High Court.
