SC de-seats PML-N MNA Iftikhar Cheema, orders re-election in NA-101 Gujranwala

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered re-election in NA-101 Gujranwala, declaring the verdict of the election tribunal void.

A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali de-seated PML-N Iftikhar Cheema for concealing his assets.

The petition was filed by Ahmed Chattha of the Pakistan Muslim League-Juneju.
