ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Former president Pervez Musharraf has said that the Supreme Court should have decided the Panama Leaks case by now. In 92 News Program ‘92@8’ on Monday, he said that former chief justice shifted the responsibility to his successor. “Panama Leaks is an international issue. I have heard that the new chief justice is very honest and bold man. I hope he will definitely announce the judgment,” he said. The former president said that the commissions are just formed to pass time. “The case is very clean and it should be decided,” he added. He said that the law of plea bargain was also in vogue during his rule. “It was unavoidable during my rule because the country was in a dilapidated condition and had no money. Plea bargain should also be done under a law,” he added. Pervez Musharraf said that the PTI had always talked about moving the Supreme Court. “The PML-N and the PPP are in underhand collusion, which is very disappointing for the country,” he said. “The country is heading towards destruction. Corruption is at its peak and no suo motu is being taken.” The former president said that the government’s standpoint on Kashmir is that it should be left. He said that India is very disturbed at the CPEC project. “China is helping Pakistan and India is not tolerating it,” he maintained.
