SC demands report on quality, cheap stents

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The hearing of the suo moto case on fake stents was held in Supreme Court on Wednesday. The Supreme Court demanded a report on quality and cheap stents. Justice Asif Saeed Khosa, in his remarks, said that it is possible that unregistered and fake stents are still used for the patients. “We would ensure the provision of cheap and quality stents to the poor. The issue would be monitored till the court is satisfied,” he said. We do not want to create a panic on the issue. The analysis on the media can be banned,” Justice Khosa warned.
