SC directs issuance of Chairman PEMRA's notification within 2 days

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court on Wednesday has directed that notification for appointment of Muhammad Saleem Baig as Chairman PEMRA be issued within two days. A three member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar, directed that notification for appointment of Muhammad Saleem Baig as Chairman PEMRA be issued within two days. The bench noted that he was selected by the search committee constituted by the apex court. The Chief Justice remarked that they want an independent PEMRA.
