SC dismisses Imran’s plea to de-seat Gulalai

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday dismissed a petition filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan challenging the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) verdict rejecting reference to de-seat estranged party MNA Ayesha Gulalai. A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar conducted hearing of the case. During the proceedings, the court rejected PTI chairman Imran Khan’s petition and upheld the ECP’s decision.
