SC dismisses plea seeking disqualification of Zulfi Bukhari

LAHORE (92 News) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday dismissed the plea seeking disqualification of Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari. The court allowed him to continue his work. Aitzaz Ahsan, counsel for Zulfi Bukhari, stated that his client is a special assistant and he is not using the powers of a minister.

The CJP remarked that they will look into the matter if Zulfi Bukhari uses administrative powers. He said that Zulfi Bukhari does not come under the Articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution.
