SC has power to resolve Centre-provinces disputes: CJP Gulzar Ahmed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed said that the Supreme Court had power to resolve the disputes between the Centre and the provinces. Addressing the participants of the National Security and War Course 2021 during their visit to the SC on Thursday, he said that Pakistan has its own history of the evolution of the judicial system. "The judiciary is an important pillar of the state. The Article 175 covers the judicial system," he said. The CJP said that the powers of the Supreme Court and subordinate judiciary are clear.
