SC issues contempt of court notice to Jang Group editor-in-chief, two others

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court has taken notice of fabricated stories about the joint investigation team and issued contempt of court notices to Jang Group Editor-in-Chief Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman, publisher Mir Javaid-ur-Rahman and report Ahmed Noorani.

Justice Ijazul Hassan remarked that the Jang Group has continuously been publishing and airing fabricated stories.

The court has sought a reply from all three within seven days.
