SC Karachi Registry orders to widen Gujjar, Orangi 'Nullahs'

KARACHI (92 News) – The Supreme Court Karachi Registry on Monday ordered to widen Gujjar and Orangi Nullahs.

The court rejected the applications for stopping the operation and compensation to the affectees. Moreover, the court nullified the stay orders pertaining to Nullahs.

The court ordered to restore park after demolishing constructions on Kashmir Road.

The court remarked that Karachi was being governed from Canada. "Squatting is still going on and who will be responsible for it," it observed, adding that the problem would be resolved only after sending these people to jail.
