SC might have no knowledge of political affiliation of JIT’s 2 members: Marriyum

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that the Supreme Court might have no knowledge of political affiliation of two members of the joint investigation team.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, she said that Bilal Rasool is the nephew of Mian Azhar, founder member of the PTI.

The minister said that Hussain Nawaz had recorded his statement despite having objections about two members of the JIT.

She said that the prime minister had not sought exemption despite his constitutional right. The impression of ambulance during the hearing is wrong, she added.

PML-N leader Daniyal Aziz said that there was a hearing of Imran Khan in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and the anti-terrorism court (ATC), but he was not questioned.
