SC moved against PM Nawaz's UNGA speech in English

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – An application has been filed with the Supreme Court on Monday against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for contempt of court. The petitioner Mahmood Akhtar Naqvi maintains in its plea that the PM has disrespected the SC’s order by delivering a speech at the UNGA in English. The petitioner appealed to the court to initiate contempt of court proceedings against the prime minister. The SC had passed an order on September 8 regarding implementation of Urdu in government departments.
