SC orders re-election in PS-23 Naushahro Feroze

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court has on Tuesday ordered re-election in PS-23 Naushahro Feroze.

The court had reserved the verdict during January 11 hearing.

Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Masroor Ahmad Jatoi was declared successful, however, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Feroz Jamali had challenged the election results in Apex Court.

The lawyer of rival candidate said that NADRA reports proved that PML-N leader Masroor Ahmad Jatoi’s most of the votes cast in the constituency were fake.

On the other hand, according to NADRA reports 2200 votes were found to be fake.
