SC orders to remove all billboards in three days in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – The Supreme Court has on Friday given final deadline to the Karachi administration and order to remove all billboards/hoardings across the city within three days. The apex court warned that if the billboards/hoardings across the city didn’t, the court will take action. A three-member bench of the apex court took up the case for hearing on Friday. During the proceedings, all DMCs, while presenting the report of removing Cantonment Board billboards, Additional Attorney General told the court that 98 percent hoardings have been removed. Justice Ameer Hani Muslim remarked that there was need to misrepresent the remarks. The court further expressed dissatisfaction over the report of DMCs.
