ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court has on Monday rejected the petition of Hussain Nawaz, son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, against two members of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT).

A three-member special bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Ijaz Afzal and comprising of Justice Sheikh Azmat and Justice Ijazul Hassan resumed hearing of the application of Hussain Nawaz.

During the proceedings, the court directed the JIT to behave respectfully with every citizen, adding that his wife had contested the elections from Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid’s (PML-Q) ticket.

Justice Ijaz Afzal rejected the objections and remarked that not a single JIT member would be changed.

He remarked that they have constituted this team and they will take it to a logical end.

Earlier, Hussain Nawaz had raised objections against two members of the JIT. In an application to Supreme Court, he asked for an appropriate action against those members.
