SC rejects Ishaq Dar’s petition against disqualification over continues absence

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court (SC) has rejected the plea of PML-N leader Ishaq Dar against his disqualification over his continuous absence from court proceedings.

A bench comprising of three-members headed by Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed heard the case regarding Ishaq Dar Senate membership. Justice Ejaz-ul-Haq remarked that petitioner had also not appeared at the last hearing. Ishaq Dar was summoned by the court but did not appear.

Counsel of Ishaq Dar said that his client is ill and he is living abroad.
