SC rejects Islamabad Bar's plea, orders to demolish all illegal chambers of lawyers

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court rejected the plea of the Islamabad Bar, ordering demolition of all illegal chambers of lawyers.

The court also ordered the lawyers to vacate the football ground immediately.

Hearing the plea, Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed asked the lawyers how much time they require to vacate the ground. The lawyer's counsel sought at least two years for the purpose.

The chief justice remarked that so much time cannot be granted.

Justice Ejazul Hassan remarked that the court will not provide justification for any illegal act.
