SC rejects review petition on Sharif family’s sugar mills

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court on Monday rejected the review petitions regarding the sugar mills of the Sharif family. In its remarks, the Supreme Court said that the high court should be allowed decide the matter. The case regarding the sugar mills of Sharif family has been initiated in the Lahore High Court. The petition was submitted by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen in the Supreme Court against the verdict of Lahore High Court. A three-member bench headed by Justice Saqib Nisar is hearing the case regarding the transfer of Ittefaq Sugar Mills from north to south.
