ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court has rejected the report of the Sindh government on encroachments. Hearing the case at Karachi Registry on Thursday, Justice Gulzar Ahmed expressed indignation at the authorities for destroying the infrastructure of the city. He ordered to demolish all illegal marriage halls, cinemas, commercial plazas and markets. He also ordered to call a meeting of the Sindh cabinet immediately over the decrepit condition of the city. Justice Gulzar Ahmed remarked that at least 500 buildings have to be demolished. Hearing a case pertaining to the killing of a family by police, Justice Gulzar remarked that the police kill a man for nothing. “Were they terrorists?” He remarked that the police attitude was shameful. “We should end the police. They should be asked to leave and replaced with another police,” he remarked.
