SC's nine-member bench is sitting to defend law and constitution: Sheikh Rasheed

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - The nine-member bench of the Supreme Court is sitting to defend the law and the constitution.

In a message on Twitter handle on Friday, he said that it was a sign of serious threat to criticize the judges. "Consequences of pressurizing the Supreme Court will be heinous," he added.

He said that the federal government will have to decide whether it has to save the country and the constitution or politics.

Sheikh Rasheed said that terming the generals and judges as 'cabal of five' before public is tantamount to saying the last salute to democracy. "There will be a rebellion against inflation," he added.
