SC seeks record of PTI funding, ECP proceedings

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan has demanded all record of PTI funding and proceedings in the Election Commission of Pakistan.

The SC three-member bench led by CJP Saqib Nisar heard the petitions seeking disqualification of Imran Khan on Thursday.

The CJP remarked that they could go to any extent to find the truth.

Giving arguments, Naeem Bukhari, counsel for Imran Khan, said that his client had been paying the tax since 1981.

He said that the court could summon the income tax record from the department concerned.

The case has been adjourned until May 30.
