SC suspends Ayyan Ali’s non-bailable arrest warrant
July 22, 2016
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court has on Friday suspended non-bailable arrest warrant of dollar girl Ayyan Ali. The super model had challenged non-bailable arrest warrant against her in the Supreme Court in the murder case of customs inspector in a plea filed by her. The apex court dismissed the hearing until July 25 and issued notices to SHO Waris Khan police station. Previously, a local court had on Thursday (yesterday) issued non-bailable arrest warrant of super model Ayyan Ali in Customs Inspector Ijaz’s murder case and ordered the police to immediately arrest the accused. Warrants have also been issued for others accused including customs superintendent Zargham and Dr Haroon. Customs Inspector Chaudhry Ejaz Mahmood was shot dead last year outside in house. Earlier, Mahmood’s widow alleged that Ayyan was responsible for the murder of her husband and her name needed to be put on the Exit Control List. She further said that the police needed to investigate Ayyan in the murder case. The wife of slain customs inspector Ejaz Chaudhry alleged in a petition had said that her husband had been murdered at the behest of supermodel Ayyan Ali. Saima also claimed that her husband was in-charge of a warehouse where the amount recovered from Ayyan Ali was kept.
