SC to hear case of using PIA plane for a private tour tomorrow

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Justice Saqib Nasir took notice of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) director general (DG) using a PIA plane for a private tour and the matter fixed for hearing. The chief justice rejected the initial reports submitted by the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) CEO and the CAA director general. He also took the notice from media reports and the matter has fixed for hearing. The top judge will hear the case on July 22 at the Supreme Court’s Karachi Registry. Earlier, the Supreme Court had issued notices to PIA and the CAA over reports that the CAA head took a group of friends for a special tour of Nanga Parbat on a PIA plane, leaving passengers stranded at the Skardu Airport.
