SC to hear plea seeking to declare Ch Pervaiz Elahi's detention illegal on Oct 6

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - A three-member bench of the Supreme Court will hear a plea seeking to declare the detention of PTI president Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi illegal on October 6.

The bench will be headed by Justice Sardar Tariq, while Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Musarrat Hilali will be its members. The petition was filed by Qaisra Elahi, wife of Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi.

Meanwhile, a three-member bench headed by Justice Ejazul Ahsan will hear the appeals pertaining to Orange Line Train project on October 4. The companies that completed the project had moved court for non-payment. The committee established by court had submitted an implementation report during the last hearing.

A full court will hear the case against SC Practice and Procedure Act on October 3.
