SC to hear presidential reference seeking interpretation of Article 63A on April 18

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Supreme Court will hear the presidential reference seeking interpretation of the Article 63A on April 18.

A five-member bench headed by Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial will hear the case.

In the reference, four question have been sought from the Supreme Court: Which explanation of the Article 63A is acceptable? Whether the vote of an estranged member will be counted or not? Whether a person voting against his or her party will stand disqualified for life? Which type of steps can be taken to stop horse-trading?
