SC will nullify in a day if PTI is banned, says counsel Ali Zafar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Ali Zafar, counsel for PTI chairman Imran Khan, has said that the Supreme Court will nullify if the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is banned.

Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that the verdict regarding a ban on the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) states that the disruption is an individual act and a ban cannot be imposed on this basis.

Ali Zafar said that there are different laws about the party fomenting anarchy and terrorism. "The arrest of people released from jail is the violation of the law," he maintained.

He said that the elections could not be held on May 14. "All political parties have been issued notices. "The governments in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are unconstitutional and the steps taken by the caretaker governments are unconstitutional," he added.
