‘SC won’t allow a road or tunnel in Margalla National Park’

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Justice Jawaad S Khawaja of the Supreme Court on Wednesday said that they will not allow the construction of a road or a tunnel in Margalla National Park. The three-member bench headed by Justice Jawaad S Khawaja is hearing petition regarding construction of a road in Margalla National Park. The court remarked that the Pak-China Economic Corridor is straight like a coiled sweetmeat. He said that people are being favoured through the project. The court ordered the National Highway Authority to produce the map of the Pak-China Economic Corridor. The case has been adjourned until April 16.
