KHYBER (92 News) - A private school teacher turned to the killer of a grade seven student in Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP). The suspect identified as Roydad confessed to killing 15-year-old Kashif Afiridi of Taidi Bazaar of Jamrud town. Kashif, who was student at a private school, initially went missing on October 8 evening and was found murdered the next morning. District Police Officer Muhammad Hussian told a press conference on Sunday that the suspect was initially taken into custody for routine interrogation and later he admitted his criminal offense. Suspect Roydad, who was also presented before media, said he killed Kashif after he refused to stay away from the company of bad people. "I used to warn Kashif not to join the bad company but he paid no heed to my repeated alerts." The DPO said the forensic report would determine if the victim was sodomized by the suspect before being murdered. He said police also seized the murder weapon and a motorcycle of the accused.
