Schools closed till Jan 31 across Punjab; PSF rejects decision

LAHORE (92 News) – The government has ordered the closure of all government and private schools for a week due to the ongoing cold spell. The schools will remain closed till January 31.

The Private Schools Federation (PSF) refused to accept the decision of Punjab government.

Private Schools Federation (PSF) said that how could such an important decision be taken late night, adding that they have not yet received any notification pertaining to government’s decision, however, the schools will remain open today (Tuesday).

Private Schools Federation leader Kashif Mirza said that they cannot close the schools as annual examination will be held in March.
