SCO membership to improve Pakistan-India relations, says Pervaiz Rashid

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has said that it is an honour for Pakistan to be a permanent member of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO). Talking to media in Islamabad, Pervaiz Rashid said that SCO membership will provide Pakistan and India a platform to work together for improving bilateral ties. He said that the world has praised Pakistan’s economic reforms of the present government. The minister said that they will give a bright and prosperous country to the youth. Pervaiz Rashid said that we cannot change our neighbours and Pakistan and India has stay in the same region. Criticising Imran Khan, he said that PTI chairman has leveled baseless allegations against PML-N government and politics based on lie has always failed. The minister said that Imran Khan had collected funds of billions of rupees but did not pay the catering owner. Commenting on local body elections in Islamabad Pervaiz Rashid said that senate has passed a bill in this regard. He said that the bill will be presented in the National Assembly after Eidul Fitr after which local body elections will be held on party basis.
