LONDON (92 News) – Scotland Yard dropped the money laundering case against the MQM founder on Thursday. According to details, Scotland Yard has confirmed that no proof of money laundering was found against the MQM founder. The case has been quashed against the MQM founder, Muhammad Anwar and Sarfraz Merchant on the order of the Crown Prosecution. A spokesman for Scotland Yard said that now the case would no longer be tried. He said that it could not be proved whether 500,000 pounds recovered from the house of Altaf Hussain was brought illegally or it was to be used for illegal tasks. He said that 28 people were interviewed during the investigation and over 100 people testified. The spokesman also disclosed that nine places were frisked in northern and southern areas of Britain, while six people were arrested during the raids.
