SC’s Panama verdict costs Pakistan Rs14 billion: Ahsan Iqbal

LAHORE (92 News) – Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has on Saturday declared the Panamagate verdict of Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) most expensive judgment in the history of the country. Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Saturday, he strongly criticized the Panamagate verdict of Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC), saying that the apex court’s verdict cost Pakistan Rs14 billion. The minister said that Pakistan became an unprecedented story of success during the last four years due to upward trajectory in diverse fields. He said that incidents of terror have reduced by 80 to 90 percent as compared to 2013 and peace has been restored in the length and breadth of the country. Ahsan Iqbal said that a star studded world eleven Independence Cup tournament imparted a positive and soft image of the country at international level.
