Second-day strike being observed today in Kashmir

SRINAGAR (92 News) – In Indian-held Jammu Kashmir (IHK), second-day strike is being observed today (on Friday) to register protest against New Delhi's attempts to abrogate the Article 35-A of the Indian constitution. Call for the strike has been given by the Joint Resistance Leadership. Article 35-A of the Indian Constitution prohibits non-permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir from permanent settlement in the state and from acquiring immovable property, government jobs, scholarships and aid there.
