Security concerns: Pak-Afghan border remains sealed for second day

PESHAWAR (92 News) – The Pak-Afghan border remains closed on second day in the aftermath of the deadly suicide attack Sehwan Sharif. Torkham border has been closed for the transport of vehicles as well as pedestrians. The Frontier Corps has increased patrolling at routes going to Afghanistan in Chaman. Meanwhile, NATO supply, transit trade and trading activities have also been suspended. The security at nearby areas of the border has also been increased. The political administration officials said on Friday that the Pak-Afghan border crossing at Torkham has been sealed for all kinds of communication due to security concerns. "The border crossing will stay closed till further notice and all kinds of trade and commercial activities will remain suspended," the officials said.
