Security forces kill five terrorists during ongoing recovery operation in Ziarat

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Security forces killed five terrorists during ongoing recovery operation in Ziarat.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), on night 14/15 July 22, terrorists hideout was identified and cleared by security forces near Khost in Khalifat mountains.

Once encircled, the terrorists opened fire on the closing-in troops, resulting into martyrdom of Havaldar Khan Muhammad.

During the follow up clearance operation,  five terrorists belonging to the  proscribed Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) were killed in ensuing heavy exchange of fire.

The sanitization operation, however, will continue in the area to apprehend remaining perpetrators and recover Umer Javed, cousin of the martyred Lt Col Mirza Laiq Baig.
