Security forces kill five terrorists, injure six others in Mastung action

QUETTA (92 News) - The Frontier Corps (FC) killed five militants and injured six others involved in attacks on security forces and torching of five oil tankers carrying fuel for Saindak Project in Balochistan's Mastung district on Sunday.

In a statement, FC spokesperson Khan Wasey said that the security forces carried out a search operation in Kardgap area when the militants opened fired. In response, five militants were killed and six injured. The operation was being monitored by a helicopter, the spokesperson said.

Wasey said that the miscreants were involved in attacks on security forces and had recently torched five oil tankers carrying fuel for Saindak Project in the area. “The miscreants belonged to a banned separatist outfit,” he said.
