Security forces kill seven terrorists in Balochistan's Awaran

QUETTA (92 News) - The security forces on Tuesday killed seven terrorists in Quetta’s area of Awaran during an operation.

According to the details garnered, the Levies force conducted an operation in Balochistan’s Awaran. During the operation, seven alleged terrorists were killed in an operation.

According to the forces, the operation was conducted near Keel Kor after they received information about the whereabouts of the terrorists. During the operation, shots were fired from both sides during which the terrorists were killed.

“The suspects were involved in multiple attacks on residents,” the spokesperson said, adding that the bodies have been moved to a hospital where identification is under way.

Earlier in the month of July, security forces foiled a major terrorism bid by killing a key terrorist of a banned outfit Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) near Turbat, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) had said.

The ISPR had said that the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan personnel have conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Buleda tehsil near Turbat.

A key terrorist of a banned outfit Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) was killed in the IBO. The forces also recovered arms, hand grenades, communication equipment and locally-made landmines, added ISPR.
